A customer calls with a no-start on a five-year-old Honda. Dispatch runs the lookup: Group 35. The driver has one on the truck, tests the old battery at the roadside so the customer can see the reading, installs the new one, and collects the battery plus the install and the service call at the company's normal rates. The core goes back to the counter on the next pickup. At the end of the month, that battery is one line on one statement, bought at partner pricing.
