Arizona has 49 pickup locations, split almost evenly between the Phoenix metro and Tucson, with Mesa, Scottsdale, Surprise and Tempe covered. Desert heat makes battery replacement one of the steadiest calls an Arizona roadside operator gets.

Summer surface temperatures in Phoenix cook batteries from the inside; a three-year-old battery that would last five in Ohio fails here in August. Operators running the Loop 101, I-10 and I-17 have counters on every side of the metro, and Tucson has its own ten locations so a run down I-10 does not depend on Phoenix stock.
Cities: Phoenix (10), Tucson (10), Mesa (6), Scottsdale (5), Surprise (3), Tempe (3), Chandler (2), Peoria (2), Yuma (2), Flagstaff, Gilbert, Glendale
